Tazeen Fatima Acquitted: Senior Samajwadi Party leader and former cabinet minister Azam Khan’s wife Dr Tanzeem Fatima has got a big relief from the court. The court has acquitted Tanzeem Fatima in the Humsafar Resort electricity theft case. In the year 2019, the department raided Azam Khan’s wife Dr Tanzeem Fatima’s Humsafar Resort on the information of electricity theft. During the raid, electricity theft worth lakhs of rupees was revealed in Humsafar Resort. After which JE Rahul Ranjan of Dungarpur power house filed a case against Tanzeem Fatima in the city police station.
Former cabinet minister Azam Khan’s wife Tanzeem Fatima had filed an application in the court to end the case after depositing the summons amount of Rs 30 lakh. On this basis, the court has ended the case. After coming out of the court, former cabinet minister Azam Khan’s wife Tanzeem Fatima said that there was a case of electricity theft in the electricity department and she had come to the court in connection with that, in which the court had acquitted her. When she was asked that Azam Khan’s appeal regarding 27 cases has been rejected, Tanzeem said that it is all up to the judge whether to reject or accept it. On the issue of electricity theft, Tanzeem said that just like false cases have been filed earlier, in this case too, he has been falsely implicated.
